It was hot sunny noon of august, I was going to the bus terminal Majestic (Bangalore, India) to get ticket for Tirupati (Balaji Temple, richest god in world, location Andra pradash, India). As usual I went to the bus stop near my house and a big red Volvo came. I was in dilemma to get in as there is crisis in my pocket. But it was so hot therefore decided to get in. I was carrying my usual bag with me. As soon I sat inside I feel relaxed but there was nothing to do inside, no one to talk and nothing to read. I feel bore. From the next stop (Diary cross). Two sparkling jovial girls gets in; guessing their age between 17 to 19. They sat in the opposite lane one sit behind. I have taken one glance on them and turned to my window.
As old saying “two girls can’t sit quietly”. They started talking. I turned back and feel gripping to listen their cheat-chat. So I went one sit successor to their sit and given a close look on both of them. One of them had big curls on black hair falling up to her shoulder .Fair complexion with big black eyes and a small mole on her chin. Used mascara also on her eye lashes. Moisten chick and polished nail. She was looking complete Fecund and her body was replete. She was wearing full sleeve top of Prussian blue color and a denim jeans and a white shoe.
The next girl has nothing special and naive. She was simple south Indian girl with normal complextion, wearing blue jeans, a white top and a dupatta.
They started talking on the aspect of marriage. The fair girl said, marriage is something that she doesn’t understand. She is not able to visualize herself in marriage knot. She wants to stay independent in life; high status and success in life she wants. She thinks having boyfriend and hangout with a hunk is quite interesting but when it comes to marriage. She steps out. The reason she disclose, she can adjust with her husband but she can’t adjust with family members and family friend’s hypocrisy imagination.
The dark girl put some thought on this aspect in simple words. She is afraid of marriage because she thinks that she will be divorce after she gets married and she can’t think herself in that situation. I feel she is insane or an alien.
A phone rang, fair girl pick up the phone. Some guy called up .she says they will wait in barista café. I should say they were rich girls. By their conversation I came to know that they are going for movie and want to see Hollywood stars but there is no English on multiplex only Hindi . She feels sad and hangs up the call.
In the mean time ticket collector comes, they ask ticket for Guttahalli bus stop .The bus was in little rush although it was a well conditioned bus then also giving jerk as rickety bus. I was not able to write on my filter paper. They play an i-pod a usual style of bangloriens. They were sharing the ear phone, so they don’t realize how loudly they were preaching their words.
The most common topic of girl’s make-up stuff, they started talking again. I was fervidly listening to them. The fair girl says, she went for eye brow dressing but it is not done properly, one side is more bend the other. She wanted to put blue shade on her eye lid but she has put red and referred infinite number of companies on eye shade. She feel she look dumb. But her friend appreciate and says, it is much better than blue. I have to say she was looking like a sparkling pearl. I always believed that every girl has strong exhort for cooking & knitting. But my hypothesis was shunned when the dark girl says; she doesn’t have interest in home keeping work.
We were stuck in traffic jam and I want to persist this jam. As I was spending a mesmerizing time inside the bus, the dark girl name some girl whose name is Arti of her class spontaneously the fair girl chorus and said “ that girl is skinny and nothing on her ventral side, then also wear tight top and miniskirt. They both don’t like Arti. The fair say she like to wear skirt as her leg a attractive and beautiful and many people have admired in past. I also hope the same.
Suddenly the dark girl realizes that I was listing to them from behind, so she turns and stares at me. I was in totally awkward situation so I act desperately by raising my eye brow and making a questioning face. She turns back and said “such a stupid guy trying to listen our conversation and staring at us.
My opalescent journey was about to end as guttahalli stop came. I thought I should ask their name but as we all know “what’s in name” and I let them to go without uttering a word. Hoping against then hope that we will meet again……..
